This year’s conference is also featuring a keynote panel on student activist at Temple University with Dr. Chandra Talpade Mohanty, the Greater Philadelphia Women’s Studies Consortium 2016 Scholar in Residence. Dr. Mohanty distinguished professor of women’s and gender studies and dean’s professor of the humanities at Syracuse University. Her work focuses on transnational feminist theory, anti-capitalist feminist practices, anti-racist education, and the politics of knowledge.
